The preroll.io dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of your entire production operation. When you log in, you land here — everything that needs your attention is surfaced immediately.

Overview Cards

The top of the dashboard displays key metrics for your current billing period:

CardWhat it shows
Active EpisodesTotal episodes currently in progress (not yet published)
Due This WeekEpisodes with deadlines in the next 7 days
Awaiting ApprovalDeliverables submitted to clients pending review
Published This MonthEpisodes successfully published this billing cycle

These cards update in real time as you and your team move episodes through the pipeline.

In-Progress Episodes

Below the overview cards, you'll find a list of episodes currently being worked on, sorted by deadline urgency. Each entry shows:

  • Episode title and show name
  • Current pipeline stage (with color coding)
  • Assigned deadline
  • Client name
  • Number of pending deliverables

Click any episode to jump directly into its detail view.

Deadline Timeline

The timeline section visualizes upcoming deadlines across all your shows in a horizontal scrollable view. Episodes are plotted on a 30-day timeline so you can spot bottlenecks before they become problems.

  • Red markers — Overdue episodes
  • Orange markers — Due within 48 hours
  • Blue markers — On track

Quick Stats

The dashboard includes a compact statistics panel showing:

  • On-time rate — Percentage of episodes delivered by their deadline (rolling 90 days)
  • Avg. turnaround — Average time from recording to published
  • Client approval speed — Average time clients take to approve deliverables
  • Episodes this month — Compared to the same period last month

Quick-Create Actions

The dashboard header includes quick-create buttons for common actions:

  • New Episode — Opens the episode creation form with show selector
  • New Client — Starts the client onboarding flow
  • New Show — Opens show setup with pipeline configuration

These actions are also accessible via the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac), which opens the command palette.

Attention List

The attention list highlights items that specifically need your action:

  • Episodes stuck in a stage longer than expected
  • Deliverables with client revision requests
  • Upcoming deadlines with incomplete deliverables
  • Failed distribution attempts (Transistor/YouTube publish errors)
  • Integration disconnections requiring re-authentication

Activity Feed

The right sidebar shows a chronological feed of recent activity across your organization:

  • Episode stage transitions
  • Client approvals and revision requests
  • New comments on deliverables
  • Team member actions (for Studio plan users)
  • Distribution publish events

The feed updates in real time and can be filtered by client, show, or activity type.

Customization

The dashboard respects your organization's scope:

  • Solo producers see all their clients and shows
  • Team members see activity scoped to their organization
  • Filtered views persist across sessions — if you filter to a specific client, the dashboard remembers
